An informal reflection led by Adam Cetrangolo on the Pastoral Implications of 1 Timothy, Chapters 2 & 3
After preaching over two weeks from 1 Timothy chapters 2 and 3 and fielding questions, it became apparent that there were a number of pastoral questions that were arising that were important to unpack in a more relaxed setting than a Sunday Service.  This recording is an attempt to do this while answering specific questions asked on Sunday 25 October.
The theme of 1 Timothy is that the gospel leads to practical, visible change in the lives of those who believe it. It is often thought that the theme is church order, but the discussion of church offices is simply a piece of the larger argument that the true gospel, in contrast to false teaching, will always lead to godliness in its adherents.
